Anitix is a dynamic anime app designed for anime enthusiasts, offering a vast collection of shows and movies across various genres. Enhancing the Anime Experience
With Anitix, anime fans needed a better way to create collaborative watchlists and discuss their favorite shows in real-time. Previously, only one user could manage a list, making it difficult for friends to share their thoughts together.
Our solution was to allow users to invite others to their watchlists, where they can see each other's recommendations, rate shows, and add their own comments, enhancing the shared anime experience.
Improving the experience
A common issue we heard from users was that it was challenging to find anime episodes or series they had previously watched or discussed. To solve this, we added a new tab that lists all previously viewed or commented-on content. Additionally, we introduced a feature to favorite shows, so if users come across an interesting anime they want to watch later, they can easily save it to their watchlist.
Project outcomes
Real-time collaborative watchlists significantly improved the shared anime experience for users. It became much easier to plan group watch sessions and discuss episodes together with the new shared watchlists feature. Users gave feedback that they enjoyed collaborating with friends, appreciated seeing others' comments, and found the app to be highly interactive and user-friendly.
